- Mind boggling performance. Review by Christopher

Today, is the 4th time in as many weeks that I have found my old music sounding brand new again! I am still experimenting with them being driven by my all-analog 7.1 Xonar HDAV 1.3 deluxe boards and its 12 op-amps, running into an ancient NAD receiver, that has enough current to drive them beautifully.Quality Price Value
My Fosi GR70 arrives very shortly, and I can't wait to hear the valvey goodness version of my digital music, on the 2.1 Fosi system, and my Sundaras.
These things, once adjusted correctly, almost disappear on my head, especially if the "Dolby Headphone" option works well with a song (On some songs, it doesn't), in my Xonar software.
I have a virtual plethora, or even a plethora of virtual music processing options available, and after about 7 hours of listening today, my ears aren't sore, and I have come back to an absolutely flat EQ, except for a tiny 3 and 2 dB boost to 60 and 170Hz.
There are very few songs or pieces of music which need anything much more than this, in my view. The only question is, "Does it need some Dolby Headphone to expand it, or not?"
And I am a guy who has his subwoofers tuned down to a low frequency, but a slightly higher Sub Vol than might be considered "correct". So, I like the bass.
And these things seriously surprised me. I was like "6Hz? Pfft. Yeah - Riiiiight." Well, several times in the first hour I had to reach out to my QUAD center speaker and my REL subwoofer to make sure they weren't running, such was the intensity of the sound stage, and the bass response. How is that even possible at this price?
I can tell you why: It's because we live in the future. And living in the future is awesome. Thanks, Hifiman, you blew my mind. Probably, I'll want another set sometime, as a result of this first purchase.
I want to be upset by the absolutely sluggish Ozzie postal service, and the crazy route it took top get to me, and the nutty registration procedure, which requires screenshotting your shipping confirmation email.
But I can't. These things are so comfortable, and so easy on the ear (literally), that I've already spent three times longer listening to them than any other headphones. Both the inside and the outside of my ears are very sensitive to pressure, and even with no swivel, they fit my head extremely well, and cover my ears entirely, so that I can actually forget I've got them on, and just listen.

These are my first planar headphones, and to say I am impressed is an understatement. The musicality and tonal accuracy are something you have to hear to appreciate. This agreement is the entire understanding between HIFIMAN Electronics and you, supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, and shall apply to any donations of face masks made prior to the date of this agreement.
